Training
ESPC Services provides training for schools, churches, peak agencies and administration bodies, and members including sporting and community groups.
We provide training through structured programs and ad hoc delivery, in the following key areas -
-
Signs of abuse and neglect and identifying children at risk of harm
-
Grooming, crossing professional boundaries, and other reportable conduct
-
Issues in child protection for employers and providers, and understanding responsibilities in the statutory framework
-
Responding to complaints and investigating allegations, including risk management, internal investigations, and external appointments
Participants in our training consistently applaud the practical content and delivery, real world examples calling on our extensive case experience, and the value of principles that can be applied to a broad range of situations in their day-to-day operational environment.
Our training services include:
-
Conference addresses and workshops for school and church leaders
-
Training and accreditation of internal complaint officers in schools, churches, child care services, and aged care and disability service providers - extending to conduct of internal investigatons in appropriate cases
-
In-service workshops for school staff and volunteers, church leaders, and others with front-line exposure
-
Small group training for staff and volunteers in schools, community groups, and sporting organisations
